The Wormser Kantorei is our partner choir from St Albans’ German twin town, Worms. The two choirs have been meeting every other year, alternately in St Albans and Worms, to give joint concerts since 1969. In 2009 SACC was in Worms to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the two choirs’ partnership; in April 2011 the two choirs performed Vaughan Williams’s A Sea Symphony in St Albans Cathedral. The next visit will be that of SACC to Worms in April 2013, hopefully to give a rare performance in Germany of A Sea Symphony.
